The Tamale Company

Since 2008, this Texican pair has been selling hand-made tamales and curating a selection of locally created goods from both Texas and our neighbors to the south. Israel was born and reared in Xalapa, which is located in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, while Elizabeth is from Cleburne, which is located in the state of Texas. The fact that the two had a mutual appreciation for Mexican food and culture served as the impetus for the launch of something truly remarkable. They began with humble beginnings and a single tamale cart, but now they distribute tamales across the country, carry local artisan goods (including our delectable tamales), offer carts and catering, and even have their very own brick and mortar Bodega with grab and go meals, hand-crafted kits, and more!
