Twig + Briar specializes in flowers for intimate weddings and elopements, creating floral creations as unique as the love stories we celebrate. These organic, wild bouquets aren't your grandmother's typical flowers, but we're sure she'll appreciate them just as much. Hello, my name is Jo. Peer a little closer if you see a broad meadow full with tall grass and queen anne's lace; you might just spot me resting among the wildflowers, soaking up the sun. The tiniest details, 90's music, modern art, and all things ethereal and wild bring me joy. And I'm looking forward to being inspired by you. Twig + Briar arose from a strange combination of necessity, curiosity, and passion. While looking for creative outlet, I came into the art of flower design, and this new small pastime quickly turned into a new little business, which has evolved to become one of my biggest joys. I believe in the power of art and the wisdom of nature, and these beliefs inspire me to create floral arrangements that enchant and delight my clients. Today, I'm doing florals for an indie couple. My clients, like me, prefer—or rather, wholeheartedly embrace—the unconventional. They're the types who try to put their personal stamp on weddings, believing that a wedding should be about the couple and their individual love story. They marry in discreet ceremonies outdoors or in magnificent industrial locations with close family and friends under exposed ceilings.
