Unbound is a wedding and event florist located in Steamboat Springs that focuses on unconventional and forward-thinking design. Shannon established Unbound Flower Design with the intention of expressing her unique imaginative perspective on floral design and floristry through its creation. Her artistic training and certification from the Pratt Institute inform her one-of-a-kind compositions, which combine salvaged materials, foraged and seasonal heirloom flowers, and stunning and dramatic flowers from all over the world. Her organic technique begins with the natural beauty of the objects themselves, and she enhances the flora with an aesthetic eye for design in order to offer light, color, beauty, and ambiance to any space. Her areas of expertise include floral design for large-scale events, such as weddings and elopements, as well as tablespaces, special occasions, hotel lobbies and events, home deliveries for seasonal celebrations, and permanent installations.
