Villanelle Floral Company

Angelene here. Loosely structured poetry called a villanelle usually discusses the harsh love we have for pastoral subjects and their rustic beauty. Although I work as a bespoke floral designer at Villanelle Floral Company in Seattle, Washington, I am also a dreamer, poet, gardener, dog mother, and wife. I am in love with storytelling, and I see it in everyone and everything. Verdant Living Florals and you are the lovely catalysts that ignite my imagination and direct my work, which consists of floral interpretations of life's experiences. I collaborate with my clients to create distinctive floral designs that leave them with a sense of being first sought after, then understood, and eventually accepted — and hopefully a bit more in touch with the innate, gentle beauty of nature. I enjoy the intentional communication that comes with cooperation, and I especially enjoy assisting each person I come into contact with in realizing the value of their own story. Our smallest, most important aspects are what make us beautiful as a whole, and I enjoy identifying and highlighting them when I collaborate with my customers to design their ideal arrangements. I want to make these unique floral arrangements for and because of you more than anything. I see my work as being at the forefront of the way of life I long for—one in which we are aware of the outside world, sensitive to the lovely impermanence of growing things, in love with texture, and ready to overthrow a sedentary way of life in favor of something more potent, something purposeful.
