We The Birds

WE THE BIRDS is a lifestyle brand, multi-disciplinary creative agency, and specialized French macaron bakery that was founded by sisters Sarah and Natalie Knowlton. Our distinctive personal style, worldwide perspective, and [entertaining] sister/business partner dynamic have made us well known. The founders, Sarah + Natalie, had a nomadic upbringing and moved around a lot. In addition to the USA, we also lived in Singapore, Australia, France, Thailand, Cambodia, Venezuela, and Singapore. We began to refer to ourselves as "birds" because we were always in flight. We developed the WE THE BIRDS philosophy—we are all birds of a feather—as a result of our multicultural upbringing. In Dallas, Texas, Natalie moved to join Sarah in 2015. There, we founded WE THE BIRDS and planted our digital roots. Two sisters' creative outlet has evolved into a multifaceted enterprise that combines our skills and passions. We are a particularly dynamic team because of Sarah's professional background (which includes experience in the fashion, design, and visual arts industries) and Natalie's culinary skills and professional business experience.
