Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me. My name is Andrea James, and I'm a Wedding and Event Planner in The Woodlands, Texas, who is both certified and insured. To begin with, if you're looking for a wedding planner, you're most certainly engaged and about to embark on one of life's most wonderful journeys: marriage! Congratulations on your marriage proposal. I hope you have a wonderful time and that your special day is truly magical. Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. In 2006, my family and I relocated to The Woodlands, which is where I currently call home. I discovered my enthusiasm for weddings when I was a little girl, and I've known since then that I wanted to work in the wedding industry. I had an interest in wedding planning, but it only became a reality once I completed a wedding certification course and saw it in action. In August of 2017, I received my accreditation as a wedding and event designer from Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute. I started my wedding planning business in October 2017 while finishing my last years at Sam Houston State University, where I will receive a degree in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in General Business Administration in May 2019. I worked on the campus event board while in school, preparing all types of events. Weddings, vow renewals, birthday parties, anniversary parties, bridal showers, fundraisers, banquets, 5K's, pageants, and much more have all been coordinated by me! I've planned a variety of events in the past, but I'd like to focus on weddings in the future! Now, a bit more about my work: I believe that the process of arranging your big day should be enjoyable and stress-free. I want you to feel at ease working with me and sharing all of the facts with me. During the planning process of your lovely wedding, I enjoy getting to know my couples and meeting their families. I endeavor to deliver the greatest level of service possible in order to make your wedding the most memorable day of your life! I've dealt with just about every type of couple you can imagine. I've done it all: extravagant weddings, intimate gatherings, low-budget weddings, multi-cultural celebrations, you name it! My extensive knowledge will enable me to realize your wedding day vision and goals. Finally, I hope that my enthusiasm for your wedding will shine through every step of the process leading up to your big day.
