Wildfolk Studio

Wildfolk is a flower composition and art direction firm based in Sommerville, Massachusetts that specializes in floral arrangements and art direction for weddings, events, and exhibitions. Caroline O'Donnell founded the company in 2013 with the idea of presenting flowers as works of art. Caroline has a deep awareness for nature's transcendence, and she is intrigued by the natural beauty that surrounds her. It is common to find her monitoring the movements of flowers and reaching out to feel the countless textures found in various places; she is meticulous in her examination of each and every layer and color variation. These encounters form the basis for her art, which consists of compositions that entice the viewer to touch them or engage in discussion with them - rekindling human connection through nature because both are transient. Caroline is well-known for her acute perception of color, her use of texture, and her use of movement. She draws inspiration from local settings and lets the changing seasons to guide her creations. The Wildfolk crew travels all over the world to perform weddings, flower projects, and collaborations with other artists. We collaborate closely with our clients to bring a joint vision to life, from concept to implementation, using an artistic approach throughout the process. In addition to weddings and celebrations, we also design floral arrangements for art exhibitions, editorial projects and retail spaces such as boutiques and restaurants. Collaborations with other artists, media, cultural organizations, and corporations who share my vision are encouraged. Art direction, prop styling, and set design for creative projects are some of my specialties. We raise awareness of our clients' brands by developing distinctive design concepts that elicit conversation and pique people's interest.
