Yacht Rock USA is the premier Houston Yacht Rock band, created in 2019. We perform at venues like The Sugar Land Arts & Music Festival, Katy Central Green Park, The Post, Bernhardt Winery, Eureka Heights Brewery, White Linen Nights, Lights in the Heights, DeepRoots Vineyards, and many private events. We’re a family-friendly band playing cool, easy-listening Yacht Rock from the ’70s and early ’80s. Our show features timeless hits from legends like Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Boz Scaggs, Fleetwood Mac, and more. We deliver high-energy entertainment or low-key background music, depending on your venue and needs. Yacht Rock USA is always family-friendly, and you will enjoy reminiscing about the nostalgic tunes we provide, whether for a wedding, a community or organizational event, a class reunion, or any other occasion in need of music. - How would you describe your entertaining style?
- Having fun playing classic light rock hits from the 70s and early 80s, so crowds can dance slow or fast. Our show is family-friendly, and the sound is clean and not too loud. We like to cut up with the audience and provide background on the songs.
- Can I work with you to customize a playlist?
- The genre we promote ourselves as covering is Yacht Rock - light rock from the 70s and early 80s. Our total song repertoire is about 75 songs. If we have enough time before a show on our schedule, we would consider adding one or two from that genre/period for the event.
- Are you willing to learn new songs that are important to me?
- If we have enough time before a show on our schedule, we would consider adding one or two from the Yacht Rock genre/period for the event. We're not a country, metal, reggae, or Latin band, so it would be a square peg and a round hole.
- How many musicians and vocalists are in your band?
- We have 7 band members, and 4 are vocalists.
- Is someone available to act as the emcee?
