1859 Ashton Villa

The 1859 Ashton Villa was the first of Galveston's great Broadway mansions, and today its elegantly restored interiors make a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, and private celebrations. The Italianate residence anchors a piece of the island's architectural history while offering the practical amenities a modern event requires. At the heart of the villa is a spacious Grand Ballroom, added in the 1920s, which accommodates up to 250 guests standing or 200 seated with a dance floor. An elaborate chandelier and dramatic lighting set the tone, while a low stage, caterer's prep room, restroom facilities, and convenient parking support events of every kind. Rentals include ten contracted hours, giving hosts ample time to bring a celebration to life within one of Galveston's most storied homes.
