Originally constructed in 1888 as a hay barn and fully renovated in 2014, the 1888 Wedding Barn is a four-story rustic reception venue nestled in Bethel, Maine's Sunday River Valley, just minutes from Sunday River Ski Resort, Grafton Notch, and the White Mountains. The barn's pine walls, hand-turned posts and beams, and natural hickory floors give the space a genuine historic character that extends through 3,500 square feet of event-ready interior. The venue accommodates 80 to 180 guests for weddings and private celebrations. Indoor receptions take place in the main barn hall, while outdoor ceremonies are held in the White Pine Cathedral Forest on the property, which includes complimentary white chairs and an arbor.
