A Bride Idea

A Bride Idea is a full-service wedding planning company operating from Shadowlawn, a historic antebellum mansion at 1024 College Street in Columbus, Mississippi. Built in 1848 and restored in 2001, the property has been featured on HGTV's *Old Homes Restored* and recognized by the Columbus Historic Home Association as a Pilgrimage Tour Home, offering a setting that pairs Southern architectural character with modern conveniences. Described by its team as a "one-stop wedding shop," A Bride Idea coordinates everything under one roof: venue and ceremony management, full-service florals, Mississippi State Department of Health certified catering, custom wedding and groom's cakes, hair and makeup artistry, and an in-house sound system. Additional arrangements — including minister services, a strings orchestra trio, horse and carriage, and honeymoon night accommodations — are available through the company as well. The team brings more than 50 years of combined wedding industry experience, with the owner working as a florist since 1977. Complimentary consultations are available for prospective couples.
