A Stone's Throw

A Stone's Throw Away is a boutique bed and breakfast set on elevated terrain in Nassau, Bahamas, where traditional Caribbean colonial architecture — dark wood floors and ceilings, natural limestone and coral walls, wide verandas, and shuttered windows — meets lush gardens filled with native tropical plants, birds, and butterflies. The property opened in December 2004 and comprises 10 intimate guest rooms with round-the-clock service. For private events, A Stone's Throw Away accommodates up to 150 guests across two outdoor settings: an oceanview patio overlooking the water and a private garden and pool area on the grounds. The venue is well suited for weddings, vow renewals, engagements, birthday celebrations, corporate retreats, and similar gatherings. On-site catering is available through Bombay Cafe, whose chefs specialize in Indian cuisine prepared in centuries-old traditions, and outside caterers are also welcome. A dedicated event management team supports planning from booking through the event day.
