Adobe Lodge at Santa Clara University

The Adobe Lodge sits adjacent to the Mission Church on Santa Clara University's campus in the heart of Silicon Valley, housed in the only remaining adobe brick building from the original Santa Clara Mission establishment. Constructed in 1825 and later redesigned following a 1926 fire, the lodge brings together centuries of history with a warm, intimate setting for private gatherings. Operated by Bon Appétit Management Company, the Adobe Lodge hosts weddings, birthday parties, retirement celebrations, baby showers, and memorial receptions — with catering available for both on-campus events and private off-campus occasions. The Special Events team handles the planning details from inquiry through event day. The surrounding Mission Gardens, framed by towering palms and tropical flowers, provide a serene backdrop for outdoor receptions, while the lodge's adobe brick construction keeps interior spaces cool in summer and warm in winter.
