Alaska Botanical Garden

The Alaska Botanical Garden is a 110-acre botanical garden and event venue set within a forested landscape at 4601 Campbell Airstrip Road in Anchorage, Alaska. Operated as an independent nonprofit, the garden has welcomed visitors since 1993 and is open year-round, with peak programming running from May through September. The garden accommodates private gatherings of up to 50 guests, including The Greenhouse — an indoor rental space available outside of the spring plant production season. Events of any scale require a formal rental agreement, which covers setup such as tables, chairs, food service, and decorations. The garden's grounds include curated gardens, natural trails, seasonal art installations, and one of the nation's notable Meconopsis (Himalayan poppy) collections — providing a distinctive natural backdrop for weddings, receptions, and private celebrations in Anchorage.
