Alaska Stillpoint Lodge

Stillpoint Lodge is a boutique, all-inclusive luxury wilderness resort on a private peninsula in Halibut Cove, a small artist community on the northern shores of Kachemak Bay in Alaska. The property is accessible by a roughly 30-minute scenic boat transfer from Homer Harbor or by floatplane from Anchorage, placing it in a remote and wildlife-rich setting while keeping guests connected to services when needed. Founded in 2003 by Jim and Jan Thurston as a retreat center, the lodge evolved under the leadership of their son JT Thurston and a long-tenured management team into a full-service adventure and wellness destination. The main lodge features floor-to-ceiling windows, multi-level dining and lounge areas, a 500-bottle wine cellar, and a farm-to-table kitchen drawing on the property's organic gardens. Private cabins with wraparound porches and eco-luxury amenities surround the main lodge, and the Presidential Chalet adds a private hot tub for groups requiring elevated accommodations. The lodge accommodates up to 28 guests on an exclusive-use basis and hosts Alaska destination weddings, corporate incentive retreats, executive board meetings, multi-generational family gatherings, and transformative wellness retreats. Activities woven into group itineraries include bear viewing, glacier lake kayaking, saltwater fishing, whale watching, yoga, and massage.
