Albany Museum of Art

The Albany Museum of Art (AMA) in Albany, Georgia, is an accredited institution — one of only 3% of U.S. museums to earn American Alliance of Museums accreditation — offering a distinctive setting for private events against a backdrop of American, European, and African artwork spanning the 19th century to the present. The museum holds the largest collection of sub-Saharan African art in the Southeast outside of a university setting, making every gathering here an encounter with art that is both accessible and rare. The Harry and Jane Willson Auditorium, located on the first floor, accommodates up to 100 guests and is available for corporate meetings, weddings, birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries. Rental packages include a large catering kitchen, a complete sound system, a 12-foot by 9-foot screen and projector, and tables and chairs in various configurations. The museum grounds and lobby area are also available for rental, with gallery artwork serving as the event backdrop throughout.
