Alcantara Vineyard & Winery

Alcantara Vineyards is a family-owned, sustainably-farmed vineyard situated at the confluence of the Verde River and Oak Creek in Arizona's Verde Valley — a landscape so distinctive it has attracted two resident bald eagle nests. The property cultivates more than 20,000 vines across 17 varietals and has been recognized by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the top vineyard wedding destinations outside of California. Two intimate outdoor event spaces bring the vineyard setting directly into the celebration. The Farmhouse Lawn accommodates up to 50 guests for after-hours gatherings lit by lanterns and string lights, while the Semi-private Lower Lawn hosts up to 75 guests beneath mature shade trees during daytime hours. Both settings are steps from the winery's tasting room and on-site restaurant. Beyond weddings, Alcantara hosts private group events, live music, and seasonal celebrations. The property's Verde River frontage opens access to kayaking and tubing, and the surrounding Verde Valley offers horseback rides and jeep tours, giving guests and groups a full destination experience alongside the event itself.
