Alta Peruvian Lodge

Alta Peruvian Lodge is a rustic mountain lodge in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, set at over 11,000 feet with Mount Superior rising directly behind the property. The lodge opens its grounds for wedding ceremonies and receptions each year from June through September, giving couples an alpine backdrop of snow-capped peaks and pine forest for their celebration. Couples have full access to the outdoor lawn for ceremonies, the dining room for a seated dinner, and the Alf Engen Room for dancing, complete with a dance floor and room for a live band. The lodge also provides chairs and tables, day-use suites for wedding-day prep, audio and visual equipment, and public restrooms, along with assistance planning the setup. The venue gives couples unusual flexibility for a mountain property: they may bring in their own caterer, who is given use of the kitchen for food staging and prep, and may bring their own alcohol, provided a licensed bartender serves it as required under Utah law. Access to the grounds typically opens a day or two before the wedding for setup, with no fixed end time for the evening's festivities.
