Altamura Center For The Arts

The Altamura Center for the Arts & Cultures sits in Round Top, New York, in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Founded in 1970 by soprano Carmela Bucceri Altamura and her husband Leonard Altamura, the center grew from a performing arts school into a cultural organization known for its international voice competition and immersive summer opera institute — drawing faculty from institutions including La Scala. From April through November, the center opens its grounds for weddings and private events. The property offers a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces — including a tent, decks, and canopies — and accommodates gatherings of 100 or more guests.
