Anchorage Convention Center- Egan Center

The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center occupies a prime downtown Anchorage location, situated within walking distance of more than 2,000 hotel rooms and the city's central business district. The building spans three levels and is recognized as the most configurable event space in Alaska, offering over 35,000 square feet of meeting, exhibit, and pre-function space managed by Legends Global. The facility's two primary event halls serve a wide range of gatherings. Explorers Hall, a 19,306-square-foot column-free space on the street level, accommodates up to 2,540 guests in theater configuration and 1,280 in banquet setup. Below, Summit Hall provides 11,228 square feet that divide into as many as 14 breakout rooms, accommodating up to 1,400 guests for theater-style events or 780 for banquets. Additional meeting spaces on the upper level include the Boardroom, a divisible suite seating up to 80, and a dedicated 10-person Conference Room. Throughout the facility, three major art installations funded through the Municipality of Anchorage's One Percent for Arts Program are on permanent display — including a 300-year-old cedar carving by John Hoover, whale jawbone sculptures by Melvin Alanna, and a 5-million-bead Aurora Borealis-inspired curtain. The glass foyer features eight living Ficus trees and panoramic seasonal views, setting the stage for receptions, galas, conventions, and private events.
