The Angel Oaks Events Center, formerly known as The Grand Palace, was constructed in 2008. The Special Angels of The Woodlands, a GOD-honoring organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons with intellectual impairments, has taken over ownership and operation of the facility. It is the goal of Angel Oaks Events and its employees to provide our guests with a joyous and unforgettable experience at each and every milestone in their lives. The Grand Palace stands out above and beyond other venues because we take great delight in providing “Elegance with Ease,” while also creating memories that will last a lifetime. It is the ideal venue for your wedding, reception, rehearsal dinner, or even your bridal shower because it is just 2 12 years old. There is comfortable seating for 350 people and seating for 300 for a table served or buffet style dinner at the venue. The space can be divided for the wedding and reception, and includes bride and groom dressing facilities, double-sided prep and warming kitchens, state-of-the-art audio/video equipment, as well as a drop-down projector screen and laptop hookup access. Conveniently located just south of The Woodlands and north of Spring, this community is ideal for families. We are located around 20 minutes from downtown Houston. Although we do not provide off-site catering, outside catering is always welcome.
