Apella (Greek: Ἀπέλλα) stems from the Classical Greek term for the civic assembly in Sparta, which regularly convened to decide on key affairs of the city-state. A modern adaptation of this ancient tradition, Apella by Alexandria serves as the premier event venue for the most significant meetings and celebrations in New York City.
