Originally built more than 100 years ago to house local units of the state’s volunteer militia and then the National Guard, The Armory later became the hub for the city’s track and field enthusiasts. Now, operated by the non-profit Armory Foundation (www.armory.nyc), The Armory hosts hundreds of events and welcomes more than 300,000 visits each year.
