Atheneum Suite Hotel

The Atheneum Suite Hotel sits in Greektown, the heart of downtown Detroit, a short walk from Comerica Park, Ford Field, and the city's convention center. The all-suite property features 173 accommodations designed with Greek-inspired décor — marble bathrooms, skyline views, and details that carry through into the hotel's private event spaces. Seven named event rooms, each bearing a name from classical antiquity, accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 150 guests. The Hermes Room, at 1,800 square feet, is the largest and handles receptions of up to 150. Smaller rooms such as the Aristoteles, Socrates, and Plato spaces suit intimate meetings and boardroom sessions. All rooms support multiple setup configurations — banquet, theater, classroom, U-shape, and conference — allowing the same spaces to shift between wedding receptions, corporate events, and holiday gatherings. An onsite catering team and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment round out the event offerings.
