Avalon Yacht Club

The Avalon Yacht Club is a bayfront event venue established in 1941, situated on the Intracoastal Waterway just south of Townsend's Inlet in Avalon, New Jersey. From its founding on former waterfront land at the edge of the bay, the club has grown into one of South Jersey's most recognizable waterfront gathering places, known for sweeping views of the water and the sunset-lit skyline that frames every evening event. The main event space — an elegant ballroom with panoramic windows and a wraparound deck overlooking the bay — accommodates up to 225 guests for wedding receptions, milestone celebrations, corporate dinners, and private parties. Ceremonies and cocktail hours take place on the North Deck, which sits directly at the water's edge and includes an outdoor bar. The club offers in-house catering with custom menus, professional event coordination from inquiry through the event day, and a spacious parking lot with accessible spaces. Weddings are hosted March through May and October through December on Saturdays and Sundays. Private events for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, bridal and baby showers, and corporate gatherings are available throughout the season.
