Executive Chef Vanderlei Bernardi, who was born and raised in Brazil's south, came up with the name Avenida Brazil. Vanderlei is passionate about bringing his Brazilian culture to Houston through traditional Southern Brazilian meat grilling skills and his well-known Gaucho (cowboy) service. We attempt to incorporate our Brazilian heritage into everything we do, and our new name is the next step in our mission to provide an even more authentic Brazilian churrasco experience in Houston, Texas.
