Balinese Ballroom

Balinese Ballroom occupies a building constructed in 1876 in Memphis's historic Pinch District, restored to showcase its original industrial character — exposed brick walls, wood beams, and tall arched windows. The Pinch District preserves a concentration of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century buildings that once housed the city's early commercial and residential life, giving the venue a backdrop with genuine history rather than a manufactured one. The venue offers three distinct spaces that can host events independently or together: the Downstairs Ballroom, with white-painted brick, a draped ceiling, and gold crystal chandeliers; the Upstairs Ballroom, with exposed brick and ceiling, tall windows for natural light, and Edison-bulb string lighting; and the High Point Ballroom, featuring a sunken wooden dance floor, disco ball, and a 28-foot wooden bar. Each space includes its own separate bar area and can accommodate ceremony, cocktail, or seated reception formats, allowing couples to host a ceremony and reception in the same building without changing venues. Every rental includes tables, black folding chairs, white linens, setup and breakdown, cleanup, a doorman, and free parking across three on-site lots. The venue also provides full in-house catering and bar service, with customizable menus built to accommodate dietary restrictions.
