Inspired by a great love story, Barnsley Resort is now the perfect setting for your luxury wedding. Breathtaking landscapes, historic gardens, storied ruins, and our unique village setting are the perfect canvas for unforgettable events. What was once a grand estate in the North Georgia foothills is now recognized as “One of the South’s Best Wedding Venues,” with an exceptional team of wedding professionals known for their outstanding expertise and service. There‘s nothing like the closeness you feel at Barnsley Resort. Here, everything is connected, with no need to travel to other venues or locations. Wedding events and activities flow into each other with ease and joy. More importantly, you’re connected to each other, to the friends and family who came to celebrate you, in a setting made for bringing people together. With more than 3,000 acres in North Georgia, we appeal to the couples who crave a connection to an outdoor lifestyle, are inspired by nature and intrigued by history. From golf to horseback riding, from shooting to hiking, we have something for everyone. Throw in newly renovated cottages by Charlotte Lucas interior design, a range of delicious dining choices, a spa, outdoor recreation, and more, and you'll understand why Barnsley's authentic, active, genuine lifestyle draws couples to our resort to share their celebration with loved ones.
