The battleship USS Iowa is a testament to American ingenuity and engineering innovation, and her crew cordially invites you and your special event guests to celebrate on her teak decks, whether in the quiet shade of her officer's verandas, her stately officer's spaces, or on the large capacity covered fantail. Onboard the Battleship USS Iowa, groups of all sizes are easily accommodated, and your private or public event visitors will cherish their memories and experience with you aboard the Battleship of Presidents for a long time. Three US Presidents, Fleet Admirals William "Bull" Halsey, Ernest J. King, and William D. Leahy, as well as Army Generals George C. Marshall and Harold "Hap" Arnold, walked along the same teak decks and inner passages as your guests. Tours can be arranged in conjunction with your special event by your guests. They will be awestruck by the IOWA's 16-inch main guns, explore the crew mess decks, and take bedside photos where FDR slept during the historic Tehran Conference.
