Baum Opera House

Established in 1884 by German immigrant Charles Baum, the Baum Opera House is a historic landmark in downtown Miamisburg, Ohio. Originally known as the Star City Opera House, the building once hosted vaudeville acts, theatrical performances, and community events before transitioning into a cinema and, eventually, a modern event venue. Today, the opera house serves as a flexible gathering space for weddings, concerts, theatrical productions, and private celebrations, while ongoing preservation efforts maintain its 19th-century character. Located at 15 S. First St. in the heart of Miamisburg, the venue continues its legacy as a cultural gathering place for the region.
