Beau Jardin

Beau Jardin is the City of Natchitoches water feature and garden on the downtown riverbank, situated within the Natchitoches Historic District overlooking Cane River Lake. A winding brick staircase leads past cascading waterfalls down an impeccably landscaped hillside, through stone landings framed by decorative ironwork and curved brick walls, and across wooden bridges connecting the garden sections. Strategic evening uplighting brings the waterfalls, native plantings, and flower beds to life after dark. The garden accommodates up to 100 guests for intimate outdoor celebrations — weddings, rehearsal dinners, and private gatherings. The adjacent Roque House and Gardens can be added for an additional touch of antiquity and period charm. Managed by the Natchitoches Main Street program, Beau Jardin offers a distinctive backdrop rooted in the architecture and landscape of one of Louisiana's oldest cities.
