Belknap Mill

Belknap Mill is the nation's oldest unaltered brick textile mill, built in 1823 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Set along the Winnipesaukee River in Laconia, New Hampshire, the restored mill operates as both a working museum and a distinctive event venue, celebrating the region's industrial heritage and cultural history. The Rose Chertok Gallery on the third floor accommodates up to 82 seated guests beneath exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and an open floor plan filled with natural light — suited for weddings, private dinners, corporate meetings, celebrations of life, and showers. On the first floor, the Riverside Gallery offers an intimate art-gallery setting with views of the Winnipesaukee River, accommodating up to 25 guests for ceremonies or smaller gatherings. The Rod and Gail Dyer Powerhouse Patio extends the venue outdoors for seasonal events. All catering is provided through Twelve 31 Events, the mill's exclusive partner. Tables, chairs, A/V equipment, and elevator access are included with every rental.
