Benjamin W. Best Country Inn & Carriage House

Benjamin W. Best Country Inn and Carriage House is a seventh-generation working family farm in the countryside of Greene County, in eastern North Carolina. Its centerpiece is a late Georgian farmhouse built around 1850, fully restored to its original character and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The farm offers overnight lodging in the inn and an adjacent cottage, making it a natural setting for weekend getaways and gatherings of family and friends. For larger celebrations, the property is home to The Barn at Nooherooka, a farm-to-barn event venue that hosts up to 400 guests. Weddings, art shows, food festivals, birthday parties, and family reunions all find a home here, set against the working farm's fields and rural surroundings.
