Bentwater on Lake Conroe

Bentwater Yacht & Country Club is a waterfront wedding and event venue set on the north shore of Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas, about an hour from Houston. Its centerpiece is the Yacht Club, whose copper-domed cupola is visible across the water and whose wall of windows overlooks five miles of open lake, framing sunsets and moonlit views for weddings, receptions, and celebrations. A lakeside swimming pool and resort-style grounds round out the setting. Couples choose between two signature outdoor ceremony locations: a waterfront gazebo perched at the lake's edge and a garden gazebo set among lush trees and seasonal color. Reception and event spaces range from rooms seating up to 175 guests to smaller settings with elevated, panoramic lake views, while meeting rooms across the property accommodate groups from 10 to 250 for corporate retreats, conferences, and private gatherings. Every wedding is booked exclusively, so only one celebration takes place on a given day. On-site catering is provided by the club's executive chef, and overnight guests can stay in the Villas of Bentwater, a short walk from the clubhouse. The property also offers 36 holes of championship golf, a fitness center, day spa, and racquet club.
