Black Diamond Ranch

Black Diamond Ranch Golf & Country Club is a private club and event venue set on 1,320 acres of rolling hills and moss-draped oaks in Lecanto, Florida. Founded in 1987 by Stan Olsen, the property takes its name from a premium grapefruit variety cultivated here in the mid-1940s. The Ranch Course, designed by Tom Fazio, opened alongside the community's gates — and the Quarry Course followed, carved through the cliffs and lakes of two retired limestone quarries to become one of the most distinctive layouts in the Southeast. The Clubhouse spans 28,000 square feet and carries the elegance of a Scottish club with the warmth of a New England inn. Its signature dining room rises to a 40-foot widow's watch skylight, framed by dark wood, exposed stone columns, and rich textiles — a setting that suits formal dinners, wedding receptions, and social gatherings alike. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions take full advantage of the quarry views and the property's mature oak canopy. An executive chef leads the culinary team, with everything prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients. The full-service events team supports weddings, private parties, corporate off-sites, charity events, and golf tournaments.
