Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin

Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin offers a scenic mountain setting in Colorado's White River National Forest, perched at 11,500 feet at mid-mountain and accessed by chairlift. The lodge sits beneath the towering 13,000-foot peaks of the Continental Divide, overlooking sweeping fields of wildflowers — a backdrop that has earned it recognition from The Huffington Post as an "out-of-the-ordinary" wedding venue and multiple "best of" designations from The Knot. The lodge accommodates up to 200 guests and features vaulted ceilings, timber and stone design elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Two additional spaces in the adjacent A-Frame Lodge round out the property: The 6th Alley, a restaurant-level space on the first floor for up to 100 guests, and Marnie's, a second-floor room with a private bar and access to The Perch deck for up to 80 guests. Private events are available from the last weekend of June through mid-September. Packages include menu planning by the culinary director, a dedicated event manager and day-of coordinator, private chairlift access, ceremony setup, banquet tables, linens, and dinnerware.
