Block 41 Bio: Block 41 is one of downtown Seattle’s newest and most unique private event venues. Repurposed from a 1920's ice warehouse, this indoor-outdoor urban chic venue is in the heart of the groovy Belltown neighborhood. Two separate floors combine the best of old and new with leather-wrapped columns, massive old growth timber, exposed brick walls, and vintage car decking merge gracefully with blackened steel, and state-of-the-art building systems. An abundance of windows allows stunning, natural light to flood the space. Rooms and Capacity Upstairs, the Bert & Tot Ballroom is perfectly suited for elegant sit-down dinners, fanciful ceremonies, and dancing the night away. Located on the second floor, the space provides urban views of downtown Seattle. Its interior features beautiful oak floors, brick, and board-formed concrete walls with blackened steel elements throughout. You will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen, ADA-accessible restrooms, a full building sound system, adjustable overhead lighting, and an area complete with stage lighting. The ballroom accommodates 500 standing guests or 350 seated guests and features a private outdoor courtyard. The Outdoor Courtyard is a fully landscaped and private outdoor area featuring LED colorful fence lighting, lush greenery, and wooden decking. Every detail is designed to create an oasis effect right in the middle of the city. The courtyard also doubles as an outdoor event space ideal for up to 50 seated guests or 110 standing guests. The size and backdrop make it perfect for cocktail hours, yard games, food truck, mobile vendors or a sparkler sendoff under the stars. Also included is a "Greetings from Seattle" mural, fabulous for guest photos. On the first floor, the Ewing Theater exudes a more groovy, industrial aesthetic with large storefront windows, and elements of timber and blackened steel throughout. The theater can accommodate 300+ standing or 216 seated guests. With a retractable wall, the theater can be separated into two smaller spaces for the ceremony and a cocktail hour and also has fun details such as eight magnetic stationary panels that are perfect for event branding, donut walls, booth backdrops, appetizer shelves, photo collages and more. The first floor also includes the Green Room, which serves as a prep room or Bridal Suite including a powder room, shower, one sofa, two lounge chairs, a full length mirror, getting-ready backlit mirror and a rack for hanging apparel. Downstairs you will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen and ADA-accessible restroom. Services Offered Block 41 offers an extensive array of services for events and special occasions. Venue rental packages include the use of two preparation kitchens, one loading zone per floor, fully equipped for catering services, four mobile bars, and three ceiling-mounted projectors with drop screens. Additional amenities such as round and banquet tables, black padded folding chairs, adjustable cocktail tables, and an on-site event coordinator are also included. Block 41 is an ideal downtown location just walking distance from Pike Place Market, perfect for Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, Proms, Corporate Meetings, Product Launches, Fundraisers, Company Parties, Receptions and much more!

How much does it cost to rent the venue?
We have multiple rental options and request that you please reach out for a custom quote. We have multiple options depending on your event needs! Our regular rates are for a 10 hour period, including load-in and load-out and we offer various rates including non-profit and weekday rates,
Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?
There are three nearby pay-to-park lots within a 1-minute walk, plus ample street parking and optional valet services.
What is included in the venue rental cost?
Depending on what space you rent, we have a variety of amenities that are included in the rental cost. This can include AV, lighting, climate control, prep kitchens, furnishings, courtyard access, on-site rep, AV tech time, decor hooks, bar setups, easels, stanchions, and post-event janitorial.
Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?
You are only required to use one of our five preferred caterers (Foodz Catering, Blue Ribbon Cooking, Ravishing Radish, Kaspars Catering and Cameron Catering) and one of our two AV vendors (Blue Danube and Crimson Haze). If you have special needs our vendors cannot accommodate, we can work with you!
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes. We are fully ADA compliant with an elevator that visits each floor and a ramp in the outdoor courtyard.
