Bloomfield Open Hunt

Bloomfield Open Hunt is a private club set on 40 acres in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Founded in 1917 by fox hunting enthusiasts, the club received formal recognition from the Masters Foxhounds Association in 1920 — the same year it was assigned its distinctive plum and buff colors. It has operated continuously since, hosting the Detroit and Motor City Horse Shows annually from 1934 through 2000. The clubhouse is available for private dinners, special occasions, weddings, and charity events, offering settings that range from upscale to casual. The property's equestrian grounds include two indoor riding arenas, a 60-stall boarding barn, an outdoor arena, and looping trails. The club also maintains one of Oakland County's largest private racquet facilities and a seasonal heated outdoor pool.
