Blue Moon Saloon

The Blue Moon Saloon & Guest House is a legendary Lafayette honky-tonk and community gathering place housed in a 125-year-old Acadian home on East Convent Street in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana. Since opening in April 2001 on the guest house's back porch, the Blue Moon has grown into one of America's premier venues for roots music, drawing world travelers, families, artists, and community organizations under the same roof — a rare mix that Esquire magazine recognized when it voted the Blue Moon one of the Best Bars in America. The property offers indoor and outdoor event flexibility, a professional stage, and full bar service, making it a fitting backdrop for weddings, birthdays, fundraisers, holiday parties, album releases, and crawfish boils alike. On-site guesthouse and bungalow accommodations let wedding parties and out-of-town guests stay steps from the celebration, and the walkable location puts downtown Lafayette's restaurants and bars within easy reach.
