Bluefin Bay on Lake Superior

Bluefin Bay Family of Resorts occupies a stretch of Lake Superior's North Shore in Tofte, Minnesota, positioned between the Sawtooth Mountains and the lake's rocky shoreline about 80 miles from Duluth. The property encompasses three resorts — Bluefin Bay, Surfside, and Temperance Landing — each offering lakeside accommodations alongside the natural setting that defines this part of Minnesota. For weddings and private events, the resort offers five dedicated ceremony and reception venues. Outdoor ceremony options include Tofte Cove, a private lakeside setting steps from the Lake Superior shoreline for up to 30 guests, and the Beach Patio, an open-air space along the resort's lakewalk for up to 75. Reception venues range from the intimate Bluefin Grille Shore Room for up to 20 guests and the Superior Room — an open, single-level space with panoramic lake views for up to 50 — to the Surfside Lakeside Ballroom, a grand room with vaulted ceilings and wall-to-wall windows overlooking the lake for up to 75 guests.
