Brand Park Community Center

Brand Park Community Center is a City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks facility set within the historic Brand Park Memory Garden in Mission Hills, directly across the street from the San Fernando Mission. The park was donated to the city on November 4, 1920 — part of the original land grant of Mission San Fernando de Rey de España — and has served as a gathering place for weddings, birthdays, and quinceañeras for over 80 years. California Historical Landmark No. 150, the grounds preserve the colorful atmosphere of early California mission life. The one-story community center building opened on April 15, 2010, and features a multi-purpose assembly room with high ceilings and exposed wood detailing, an entrance lobby, a serving/warming kitchen, and air conditioning and heat. Combined with the park's outdoor gardens, the facility accommodates up to 120 guests. Tables and chairs are included with all event rentals. Beyond the building, guests have access to scenic rose gardens, a gazebo, trellises, fountains, and hardscape courtyard areas that provide a picturesque backdrop for ceremonies and receptions alike.
