Brandon Inn

Set in the village of Brandon, Vermont, the Brandon Inn has operated as a site of hospitality since 1786, beginning as a one-story tavern run by Captain Jacob Simonds. After a fire destroyed much of downtown Brandon in 1880, the current Dutch Colonial-style building rose in 1892, and the inn remains on the National Register of Historic Places today. The Brandon Inn hosts weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and celebrations of life across three indoor spaces available as standalone rentals: the Ballroom, the Dining Room & Gallery, and the Garden Room & Patio. Its team provides in-house catering and an open bar at the Jacob Simonds Bar, with a champagne toast, wine, and local beer, plus optional decoration, lighting, DJ, live music, and A/V equipment. The property also includes an in-ground pool, brick patio, bandstand, and a large lawn along the Neshobe River, and the Ballroom hosts free live piano music on a Steinway Model B most Friday and Saturday evenings.
