BRIC

BRIC is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit arts and media organization that has shaped the borough's cultural landscape for over four decades. BRIC House, its home at 647 Fulton Street in the Cultural District, occupies a repurposed Strand Theater building and sits alongside BAM Harvey, the Mark Morris Dance Center, and Theatre for a New Audience. The venue's five rentable spaces span a broad range of event formats. The 3,600-square-foot Ballroom — with a 20-by-36-foot raised stage, retractable raked seating, and a sprung floor — accommodates up to 250 guests theater-style, 260 for seated dinners, and 440 standing. The 1,100-square-foot Lobby/Stoop, with its floor-to-ceiling gallery garage doors and 10-by-16-foot projection screen, serves receptions and presentations of up to 250 standing guests. The 1,400-square-foot Artist Studio offers a flexible, intimate setting for up to 70 guests for performances, workshops, and small gatherings. A professional TV Studio and a 3,000-square-foot gallery round out the rental offerings. State-of-the-art AV technology is standard across all spaces, and BRIC's events team adapts each configuration for accessibility needs, including wheelchair accommodations and live captioning.
