Broken Earth Winery

Broken Earth Winery is an estate winery situated along Ramada Drive on the east side of Paso Robles, California, drawing on more than 700 acres of vines rooted in the region's Estrella Bench. The estate traces its origins to Continental Vineyards, founded in 1973 on a 2,500-acre property once called Rancho Tierra Rejada — Spanish for "land of worked earth" — where generations of cattle ranchers and grape growers shaped the land before it. All wines are estate-grown, harvested, and bottled on-site, and the operation holds California Certified Sustainable Vineyard status. The winery's 23,000-square-foot tasting room anchors the guest experience. Designed with industrial materials and oak wood, the space features a 30-foot chandelier crafted by Wine Country Craftsman with over 130 lights and displays of Paso Robles soil stratification. A dedicated conference room, wallpapered with a panoramic view of the Estrella district vineyard, serves wine education seminars, meetings, and private gatherings. The tasting room is open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM.
