Broken Rock Ranch

Broken Rock Ranch is a 34-acre ranch retreat and event venue located in Valley Center, California, in the hills of San Diego County. Originally established in 1924, the property has served diverse groups for over a century and is now operated as a glamping destination and private event site that retains the feel of a working ranch. The venue offers two indoor meeting and dining spaces accommodating groups up to 80 guests, alongside an outdoor amphitheater, a chapel, and sweeping open grounds with hiking trails, sports courts, and arroyos. Sleeping accommodations for up to 78 guests — in bunk houses and dormitory buildings — make Broken Rock Ranch well-suited for overnight retreats, reunion weekends, and multi-day gatherings. The ranch welcomes weddings and receptions, church group retreats, corporate meetings, college group events, family reunions, and community celebrations. On-site meal service is available, and the central lodge features a distinctive fireplace fashioned from a tree trunk.
