About Bronx Zoo
The Bronx Zoo offers the ultimate one-of-a-kind experience for you and your guests and has the perfect mix of elegance and fun. With a variety of spaces available, you're sure to find a perfect fit for your corporate or social gathering. The historic Bronx Zoo was opened by the New York Zoological Society, now the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), on November 8, 1899. The WCS saves wildlife & wild places worldwide. We do so through science, global conservation, education, & the management of the world’s largest system of urban wildlife parks, led by the flagship Bronx Zoo. A day of adventure awaits you and your guests! Schiff Family Great Hall, Dancing Crane Pavilion, and Grizzly Corner are three of our most popular private spaces. The Bronx Zoo custom designs experiences of all kinds, your guest will be “wowed” by all of the various enhancements you can add-on to your event. Make your green go further! All event proceeds help support the Wildlife Conservation Society’s mission to help save wildlife and wild places around the globe. Join us for evenings at the Zoo! Evenings at the Zoo are designed so that you and your guests may enjoy a fully exclusive viewing of selected exhibits. The most popular evening experience allows guests to meander throughout Astor Court with the free-roaming peacocks, all while sipping cocktails alongside lemurs and sea lions. Guests will not only enjoy some time with our fabulous friends but they will also be able to view the 100-year-old architecture that surrounds Astor Court.

- What is included in the venue rental cost?
- Basic rentals include access to the zoo, tables, chairs, linens, and staff.
- What is the venue capacity?
- Capacity depends on each event and location(s). We can seat 800-1,000 guests for a casual BBQ and 175 for a formal plated meal. With 265 acres we are able to host upwards of 20,000 + guests throughout the entire zoo.
- Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- Prohibited items include open flame candles, balloons, blow-up animal toys, confetti, selfie sticks, bicycles, tiki torches, skateboards, rollerblades, balls, glitter, scooters, bouncy castles, or drones. No outside animals (except service animals).
- Is the venue handicap accessible?
- Yes.
- Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?
- Yes, after hours parking is included at our Southern Blvd Lot C. Daytime parking can be pre-paid.
