Buhl Mansion Guesthouse & Spa is a restored Richardsonian Romanesque castle in Sharon, Pennsylvania, built between 1890 and 1896 by steel magnate Frank H. Buhl as a wedding gift for his bride, Julia Forker. Designed by Youngstown architect Charles Owsley, the mansion fell into decline after the Buhls' passing before Jim and Donna Winner undertook a full restoration in 1996, returning it to its original grandeur. Today the property operates as a ten-room guesthouse and spa, with historic touches on display throughout, including Julia Buhl's 1922 Steinway Duo-Art grand piano and Frank Buhl's circa-1880s grandfather clock. The Mansion hosts weddings and social events across a mix of indoor and outdoor settings, including its gardens, a Victorian greenhouse, the Carriage House, a tented courtyard, and the grand staircase and parlour inside the mansion itself. Castle-for-a-day wedding packages accommodate up to 120 guests, while more intimate ceremonies and elopements take place in the greenhouse or gardens. Overnight guests have access to the property's sauna, steam room, and monsoon showers, along with spa services on site.
