Burnside Plantation is a historic 6.5-acre farm property in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, established in 1748 by James and Mary Burnside and later operated as a Moravian Church communal farm. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and retains its 18th- and 19th-century character, with a farmhouse dating to 1748 and 1818, a summer kitchen, two 1840s bank barns known as the Johnson Barn and Haas Barn, a kitchen garden, an orchard, and one of the only remaining working High Horse-Power wheels in the country. For events, Burnside Plantation offers an outdoor setting of meadows, gardens, and rustic barns that suits weddings, ceremonies, corporate gatherings, and other celebrations. The open grounds accommodate up to 250 guests, while the Johnson Barn and Wagon Shed provide smaller, more intimate backdrops for ceremonies and receptions. Custom group tours, including a Colonial Industrial Quarter walking tour, are available for corporate events, and all outdoor gatherings are set up with tenting arranged through the venue's approved vendors.
