C.W. Worth House Bed and Breakfast

The C.W. Worth House is a Queen Anne–style mansion built in 1893 by Charles W. Worth, a Wilmington cotton and wholesale grocery merchant whose family kept the home until 1944. Today the restored Victorian operates as a bed and breakfast in Wilmington's Historic District, a short three-block walk from downtown restaurants, shops, and the restored Cape Fear riverfront. The inn's seven guest rooms each have a private bath, with WiFi throughout, a gourmet breakfast served daily, and relaxing grounds. Its parlors, porches, and gardens make an intimate setting for small gatherings, and the house hosts private events including small weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats — with overnight accommodations on site for the guests who gather to celebrate.
