Cafe Cortina

Café Cortina is a family-owned Italian restaurant and event venue in Farmington Hills, Michigan, founded in 1976 by Rina and Adriano Tonon on a former apple orchard site. Adriano immigrated from Italy's Veneto region, and Rina was a first-generation Italian-American — together they built what began as a neighborhood secret into a nationally recognized dining destination. Today their sons Adrian and Giancarlo lead the venue, keeping the family's commitment to authentic regional Italian cooking and genuine European hospitality at the center of everything. The property's lush gardens, intimate patios, and an on-site seasonal kitchen garden evoke the feel of an Italian countryside vineyard. Seven distinct indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodate gatherings from 15 to 185 guests, from a cozy fireside room to open-air courtyards suited for ceremonies and receptions alike. Every private event includes an on-premise event coordinator at no additional charge, along with gourmet in-house catering, beverage packages, and complimentary guest parking — making it possible to host a celebration from breakfast through dinner, any day of the week.
